Grammy-nominated musician Inetimi Timaya Odon, also known as Timaya, recently sparked emotions online after an announcement he posted on his page went viral.
The Bayelsian-born singer announced on his page that his official ninth studio album, Gladiator, is about to be released.
In the announcement post, Timaya discussed his development and how he has been one of Nigeria’s most consistent and successful singers for the past two decades.
Timaya wrote: ‘Album number 9, 18years since True Story and I’m not stopping! Aug 15th! Get ready’
The Afrobeat superstar published his first album, “True Story,” 18 years ago and has since become a well-known figure in Nigeria’s music industry.
Almost every year, he releases one or two bangers to remind Nigerians that he is still very much around and would not be going anywhere soon.
