According to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, industrialist Aliko Dangote arrived in the state empty-handed 45 years ago, but he is today Africa’s richest man.
This comment was given by Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the commissioning of Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, the world’s largest single-train refinery, in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
Sanwo-olu lauds Dangote for being Africa’s wealthiest man.
“Dangote arrived in Lagos 45 years ago with nothing, but he is now Africa’s richest man.”
According to Sanwo-Olu, Dangote has made significant contributions to the state and has invested in the state’s and Nigeria’s economy.
This comment from the Lagos State Governor after entrepreneur and businessman Dangote thanked the Lagos State government and President-Elect, H.E Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for establishing the Lekki Free Zone and ensuring the successful execution of the project.
