Nigerian superstars Burna Boy and Tems were named winners of the 2023 BET Awards, which were hosted at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.

The event, which took place on June 26, 2023, celebrated 50 years of Hip Hop and featured incredible performances by rap giants including KRS1, Big Daddy, and Fat Joe.

Nigerian sensation Davido hit the stage throughout the show, mesmerizing the audience with his chart-topping tune “Unavailable.” Following Fireboy’s performance last year, this was the second year in a row that an Afrobeats musician played at the main event.
