The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, speaks on maintaining order following the loss of Lagos State to Peter Obi.
This comes after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), as the winner of the presidential election in Lagos state.
In reaction to violence in some parts of the state, Bola Tinubu urges Lagosians to maintain civility and avoid violence of any form.
“The fact that the APC narrowly lost Lagos State to another party should not be the reason for violence. As a democrat, you win some, you lose some. We must allow the process to continue unhindered across the country while we maintain peace and decorum,” he stated.
