2023: ‘I’m Confident Of Defeating Banky W – Babajide Obanikoro Boasts

The lawmaker representing the Eti-Osa Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives, Babajide Obanikoro has expressed confidence in emerging as the winner in the February 2023 election.

Obanikoro made this known during an interview with Punch and also sent an important message to Nigerian youths.

Asked if he was confident about defeating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representative candidate Banky W, Obanikoro said he doesn’t want to sound arrogant.

According to Obanikoro, considering the work, he has done so far and the current efforts of APC, he’s confident about merging victorious.

He said: “I don’t want to come across as arrogant, but with the work done so far and the efforts we (APC) are still going to put in, I am confident that I will emerge victorious in February 2023.”

Obanikoro also advised the teaming youths to pick up their permanent voters cards to vote adding that the 2023 election is the most important election in the history of Nigeria.

He said: “To the teeming youths and adults that have not picked up their permanent voter cards, I ask that they go pick up their PVCs and register to vote. I have a feeling that this is the most important election in the history of Nigeria. It is important that people follow the campaign issues. This is not about the individuals or parties anymore; it is about the issues that are being campaigned on.”
