A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has taken to social media to mock the presidential candidate of the Labour party(LP) Peter Obi following the low turnout of people at the Rivers state rally.
Recall that the LP Rivers State campaign rally was held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Liberation Stadium, Elekaiah Port Harcourt.
However, photos that surfaced on social media from the venue showed empty seats in the stadium, this is despite the presence of singing twins,Peter and Paul Okoye at the event.
Reacting to the empty seats and scanty crowd at the rally, Garba Adamu, in a post on his Twitter page on Thursday urged the LP flagbearer to immediately step down and endorse the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu.
He further note that the former Anambra governor should stop isolating the South east from the center.
“Peter Obi’s disappointing rally in Port Harcourt today should serve as a perfect breakfast from his aspiration.
He should immediately step down & endorse the real and truly prepared Presidential Candidate; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu & stop isolating Southeast from the center,” Adamu wrote on his Twitter page.
