2023: Wike’s Campaign Posters for President Emerge.
The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike’s 2023 presidential campaign posters have surfaced in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
On Monday, the posters were seen in different strategic locations across the capital city including places like Herbert Macaulay Way in the Central Business District, the headquarters of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and also opposite the Nigeria Defense College popularly called War College.
The posters were also seen on the fence of a building that served as the Buhari/Osinbajo Presidential Campaign Office in 2015 and 2019.
According to what was observed on the posters by our correspondent, the campaign posters were sponsored by the National President of Rescue Nigeria Movement, Jingiri Bala Mato.
The posters, which carried the logo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), promised that Wike will rescue Nigeria from insecurity, poverty, bandit and killing.
He was seen in one of the posters dressed in his native South-South wear with a bowler hat to match, while Wike appeared in a Northern outfit with a cap to match in the second poster.
Gistlover gathered, Wike is serving his second and final term as the Governor of Rivers State and would be eligible to contest the nation’s highest political office in 2023 but he himself is yet to officially declare interest in the seat.
