Michael Kibet, a 26-year-old first-class graduate in ICT and telecommunications from Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, committed suicide due to unemployment.
According to K24tv, the deceased allegedly committed suicide on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at his brother’s compound after failing to find work.
In 2021, Kibet received his university diploma.
The dead hanged himself outside his brother’s home out of irritation, according to Area Chief of Police David Rugut, who confirmed the occurrence. This devastated his family to lose a bright student and dependable professional in the entire Chepsangor area.
Until his death, Kibet was living with his mother, a retired nurse and single mother, who has been educating her children alone after the death of her husband.
