A Nigerian lady identified as Kike Oniwinde has received a special recognition from Roc Nation, the entertainment company owned by famous US rapper, Shawn Carter also known as Jay Z.
The recognition is in line with Kike’s drive to connect black people with jobs from their host communities and neighbouring towns. Kike is the founder of BYP Network, a UK-based company that works with big brands like Deloite and Airbnb and connects black talents globally.
Roc Nation recognized her for her contribution to reducing the percentage of unemployed black people. It took to its verified Twitter handle to write:
“Today we recognize 27 year old Kike Oniwinde, creator of @BYPNetworkApp, that connects black professionals with jobs and people from their communities. #BlackHistoryMonth.”
