The ongoing cookathon in Oye-Ekiti has continued and now has more than 80 hours under its belt.
The woman cooking behind the fireplace, Chef Dammy, has resolved to complete the 120-hour challenge, thus she is not taking any breaks.
The cook-a-thon began on Friday, June 9, and since then, it has become very well-liked on social media.
Some Nigerians criticized Dammy for attempting to imitate Hilda Baci, who cooked for 100 hours, while others rallied support for her.
Some Nigerians went to the cookathon location in Ekiti state for a taste of her cuisine.
When Hilda Baci herself backed Dammy Sunday night, things really heated up.
Dammy is becoming strong, according to a fresh update from @SpiritWordGM that was published on Monday, June 12.
The tweet reads: “80 hours and counting! We are hitting the goal soon. 40 more hours before we reach.”
Meanwhile, in her reaction Sunday evening, Hilda Baci tweeted that Dammy has shown boldness.
She wrote: “The beauty of dreams is that they are unique to each individual. Dami, your boldness to take on a cooking challenge shows that passion knows no limits. Embrace the journey, learn from every experience, and inspire others with your unwavering spirit.”
