Nigerian Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has joined the list of industry personnel wishing the country and its residents a happy Independence Day as it celebrates 64 years.

In a touching message, the movie actor pondered on both personal accomplishments and the state of the nation.

She expressed gratitude for the assistance provided during a recent production while also acknowledging Nigeria’s significant issues, such as hardship, bad government, and terrible economic conditions.

Despite these challenges, Iyabo Ojo stressed the significance of human responsibility in reconstructing the country, claiming that change begins with each individual rather than the government.

She encouraged Nigerians to focus on constructive deeds in their homes and communities.

Iyabo emphasized the necessity of providing a good example for future generations and instilling a sense of responsibility.

Her words in part:

“Let’s teach our children the right values. Lead by example. Be our brother’s keeper. Foster a sense of community. Promote integrity and honesty.

“By doing right in our homes, communities, and society, we can create a better nation. Let’s shun corruption, self-entitlement, and negativity. Let’s raise responsible citizens and work towards a brighter future. Nigeria is our home; no other land can replace it. Let’s embrace, celebrate, and improve it together.”
