If you’re suffering from a cough, peel and slice an onion into a few round circles, put a table spoon of sugar around each slice, cover the onions and let them sit for about an hour then eat the onions like this at least twice a day. Apparently, this method helps relief cough. This is because onions are rich in Sulfur and have antibacterial properties that can kill the micro bacteria.
