A 91-year-old Nigerian grandmother gained widespread attention on her birthday when she expressed her wish not to celebrate her 100th birthday.
The heartwarming moment was captured in a recent post shared on the popular social media platform, TikTok.
In the video, the grandmother conveyed her feelings to her pregnant granddaughter during a heartfelt conversation.
Despite her granddaughter’s prayers for her to live long and reach the milestone of turning 100, the grandmother politely declined, stating her preference not to mark that particular birthday.
She blessed her granddaughter with the hope of giving birth to a child so she could experience the joy of being a grandmother herself, and also wished for her granddaughter to live a long and fulfilling life.
