A 94-year-old Nigerian man, Adedapo Idowu, has become an inspiration to many after registering for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in a bid to fulfill his lifelong dream of pursuing higher education.
Idowu’s remarkable story was highlighted in the latest bulletin of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), where he expressed his excitement about finally taking this step toward academic achievement.
Sharing his joy, he said:
“I can now attain my dream at an advanced age.”
He also praised JAMB for their seamless registration process, noting the warm reception he received from the staff.
“The registration staff gave me a sense of belonging through the warm reception at the registration venue,” Idowu stated.
His determination and resilience have sparked admiration across social media, proving that the pursuit of education has no age limit.
