Former Nigerian presidential aide, Reno Omokri has shared his thoughts about people especially Christians choosing to stay poor because of their love for God.
According to the renowned author, doing that doesn’t mean the person is humble adding that it shows how stupid the person is.
He made this known in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.
The post he made reads;
“Staying poor because you love God is not humility. It is stupidity. God wants you to help the poor. That is why He made you and put you here. Having money increases your ability to help people. Yes, the poor need prayers. But they need payers even more. Be a payer.”
