Popular Nollywood actor, and aspiring president of Nigeria 2023  Yul Edochie sends a piece of advice on how to call for help in a way that does not reflect entitlement.

According to the presidential aspirant, the sense of entitlement is a huge turn off for a giver to someone in need, especially when words like ‘I know you can do it for me’ is used during request.

According to Yul Edochie, nobody owes you anything therefore when asking for help from someone always add the word please to it because you are only entitled to what you have worked for and not the help others are giving you.

Yul Edochie further added that no one should ever say to anyone that ‘I know you can do it for me’ because you know nothing about other people’s lives saying you should forget about what you see on social media because people only show you what they want to show.

In an Instagram post, Yul Edochie wrote;

“The only thing you are entitled to in this world is that thing you have worked for. So when asking for help, always add the word ‘please’. Nobody owes you anything. And never say to anyone, ‘I know you can do it for me’, you know nothing about other people’s lives. Forget what you see on social media, people only show you the little they want to show you. You don’t know the rest. Good luck. Yul Edochie.”
