Police Arrest A Student Over An Attempt To Use His Father, 2 Siblings, 5 Facebook Friends For Ritual [Photos]

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a student identified as Chukwuemeka Okafor, over an alleged attempt to use his father, two siblings and 5 Facebook friends for rituals in Ifite -Awka, Anambra state.

The 26-year-old suspect who has already confessed to the crime, said he decided to commit the act after he was defrauded of N400,000 by one of his friends who had promised to take him to Dubai, he then obtained the sum of N100,000 from the father under the pretense of using it to set up a business. Unknown to the father that the money will be used to settle the “native doctor” for alleged money ritua,l of which the father himself is a victim.

Exhibits recovered include;

-Eight photographs of victims, including three members of his family and five Facebook friends

-Cash sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (#100,000)

“Amidst these frustrations, I sought for the assistance of one Zaki who is very influential in the society and he told me that he made his money through money ritual.

He insisted I must join him after revealing the secret, saying he was warned not to disclose such secrets to anybody otherwise his life would be terminated.” he said.
