Yonda Talks about How a Song He Wrote Caused the Rift between Davido and Burna Boy – [VIDEO]

Singer cum songwriter Yonda has shared how a song he wrote caused the rift between Davido and Burna Boy and from his explanation one can say he is the cause of the rift.

Nigerian singer, Yonda has said his song is the cause of the ongoing beef between superstar singers, Davido and Burna Boy.

In a recent interview with Ameyaw TV, the former DMW signee said that the genesis of the feud was when Davido took a song that was meant for the African giant.

According to Yonda, he wrote a song for Buna Boy but he slept on it and didn’t do anything with it, so Davido used the lyrics in a song which eventually became a hit.

He also revealed that on the day Davido released the said song, Burna Boy shaded him in a tweet, saying that OBO is great because he’s from a wealthy background and not because he’s good at what he does.

“I wrote that song to Buna first he slept on it and David took it from him. The thing is after I got signed to David Burna still f8cked with me. Burna slept on the song and David took the song from him, the day David dropped the song, Burna subbed him on twitter”, Yonda said.
