Controversial Portable, a Nigerian singer, is making news after posting his Eid-el-Kabir, also known as sallah, preparations on social media.
Eid-el-Kabir is a Muslim holiday that commemorates Abraham’s readiness to sacrifice his son, Ishmael, in compliance with God’s instruction.
To commemorate the day, Muslims slaughter rams, cows, camels, or other animals they can afford. Portable has clearly made plans for a memorable sallah party, as he has already purchased some rams and cows.
On his official Instagram page, the Zazu Zeh singer released videos of himself showing off the five cows and two rams he purchased ahead of sallah.
Portable, clearly thrilled about his purchase, spoke about how difficult it was. He maintained that he had purchased them himself and that they were not presents.
He thought the year had been successful. The Zazu singer went on to say that the meat would be shared with mosques, kings, his father, and even his detractors.
Many online users appeared to find Portable’s videos amusing as he displayed his five cows and two rams in advance of the sallah celebrations.
