The Ogun State Police Command apprehended a young lady identified as Alice in connection with the suspected murder of her married lover.
She is accused of stabbing to death one Ayinde Isreal, a father of one, in his matrimonial house in the state’s Itori Ewekoro area.
According to insiders, Isreal’s wife traveled with their one-year-old child to the Ileya celebration, so he took advantage of their absence and invited his side chic home.
They apparently got into a fight, and during the heated discussion, she allegedly stabbed him to death with a knife on Tuesday evening, June 27.
A source said; “The guy is a married man and his wife went to his family’s house to celebrate Ileya and he brought his side chick to his matrimonial home the same day his wife left.
He and the side chick had issues and the girl stabbed him on his neck. We took him to two hospitals before he gave up. The girl is currently at Ifo police station, here in Ogun state.”
