TBoss, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija, has criticized Nigerians for applying to Guinness World Records to set records.
Many Nigerians submitted applications to the Guinness World Records in an effort to break their own records after chef Hilda Baci beat the Indian woman’s 88-hour cooking record.
While Chef Deo is currently cooking for 150 hours and Chef Dammy joined the cook-a-thon, Joyce Ijeoma, a Nigerian masseuse, has also started a 72-hour massage to break a record.
TBoss has urged Nigerians applying for Guinness World Records to break one record or another on her Instagram story. She claims that Nigeria will be prohibited from taking part.
“Nigerians Stop Now. Every day a new “wannabe record breaker” pops up. Y’all gonna make the GWR ban our people. Once they hear Nigerians they are blocking us because what is this!!!”
“Guinness World Records approved my cook-a-thon” – Chef Deo reveals
Adeola Adeyeye, a 26-year-old chef from Ondo known as Chef Deo, announces that Guinness World Records has recognized her effort to cook for 150 hours.
Hilda Baci currently holds the record for the longest cook-a-thon, lasting 93 hours and 11 minutes. Chef Deo wants to beat her requested permission from GWR to begin her cook-a-thon, which was granted.
The Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government in Ondo State is hosting Chef Deo’s cook-a-thon, which started on June 30 and will end on July 6, 2023.
Chef Deo’s manager, Ayotunde Fagbamiye, cited GWR’s approval of the attempt and expressed her determination and excitement to complete this feat and break this record for a cook-a-thon.
“Guinness World Records granted her approval to undertake the cook-a-thon.
“We were elated upon receiving the notification that she can proceed to break the record for an individual’s cooking marathon.
“She possesses great energy and is prepared to cook for 150 hours.
“Her passion and determination are evident, and I am confident she will successfully reach the end of this journey,” her manager said
