Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has dismissed Obi’s petition of winning 25% in FCT to wins Presidential election, the court rule that FCT Citizens Doesn’t enjoy special privileges ahead of other States.
According to Gistlover, Justice Haruna Tsammani, who took over to deliver judgment on the substantive petition filed by Obi and LP, stated this on Wednesday.
The FCT, according to Justice Tsammani, is not more essential than the other states in the country.
Recall During the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi of the Labour Party received more over 25% of the votes polled in the FCT.
