President Buhari Calls Ganduje A Responsible Leader, Gives Reasons

As Nigerians commemorate their 63rd anniversary of independence, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has urged them to remain optimistic despite the early difficulties faced by the current administration and reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to upholding his’renewed hope’ promises.

In a statement released by his chief press secretary, Mr. Edwin Olofu, Ganduje revealed that steps have already been taken to reposition the nation for maximum growth and development.

The APC chairman urged Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnic and religious affiliations, to uphold the culture of peaceful coexistence in order to maintain the unity and cohesion of the nation.

He said, “On the occasion of the 63rd Independence Day celebrations, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Nigerians, both at home and in the Diaspora, on behalf of the entire members of the All Progressives Congress, APC. I’m happy for you. I thank you all.

As it ushers in a new era in the history of our beloved country, today is unquestionably auspicious. Our beloved country was granted independence on this very day, 63 years ago, allowing it to determine its own course and create a new country!

I’m sure you’ll agree with me that the journey hasn’t been without difficulties. A three-year civil war that brought out the tenacious Nigerian spirit of tenacity, industry, and unwavering faith in the nation has been among its many opportunities, prospects, and challenges.

Let me reiterate that the APC will uphold its commitments to the people as a party. None of these promises will escape our notice, and none will be taken lightly.

“The current administration, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is prepared to uphold the APC’s Renewed Hope manifesto and reposition Nigeria toward sustainable growth, development, and economic prosperity.

“Fortunately, he has gotten right to work correcting the economic and infrastructure reversals of the previous years.

“Under this administration, Nigerians can have confidence that everything will work out once more, that their concerns will be put to rest, and that both the young and old will be in good security. There will be enough well-paying jobs available, as well as housing, healthcare, and other essential infrastructure that can ensure a better quality of life for the populace.

“At this point, let me acknowledge and appreciate the immeasurable contributions, efforts, sacrifices, and patriotism of our founding fathers. The emergence of this great and inspirational country known as Nigeria was made possible by their foresight, courage, and tenacity, he continued.
