At the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe Etim won the Best Actress in Leading Role Award

 The awards ceremony was held on Sunday at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, and was hosted by Nancy Isime, Rahama Sadau, and Richard Ato Turkson.

Filmmakers from all over the world gathered for the awards presentation, which recognized the finest of African cinema.
