- A video reveals that Nigerians in Manchester and France are generous, while those in West and North London are stingy and cannot even provide £500 to their people.
A Nigerian man has made fun of Nigerians living in London for being unkind to their people back home.
The man claimed in an internet video that whereas Nigerians in Manchester and other parts of the world, such as France, generously people, but those in West and North London are stingy and can’t even offer their folks an ordinary £500.
He claims that the only things they are capable of doing are sending people on errands, gossiping, and holding three- to four-hour video chats.
The man said in Yoruba;
‘’Those of you in the UK, you are not showing love especially those in West and North London. You always cherish that your pounds and never want to part wth it. Those in Manchester show us love, they even send us 100 pounds but you guys, all you know is to call somebody, use three to four hours on video calls, gossip about nonsense, telling us you bought a land in Badagry and Ikorodu.
Those in France show love. They give us 1000 Euros.He surprised me. You go and convert it to Naira to know how much that is, and he has never sent me on any errand. Those of you that we help to monitor your houses and land and even help retrieve lost properties, you cannot give us money except to be gossiping up and down and asking ‘when are you coming to London’ Even if I come to UK, I will not come to London, I am going to Manchester straight. Ordinary 500 pounds una nor go fit give person”
