During a street interview with female DJ Brooke Bailey, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, CEO of the Zeh Nation music label, shares a sensitive part of his past: his mother’s death.
The interview is called Danfo Diaries, and it archives interviews with self-made superstars.
Portable was the first to be recorded.
According to him, his mother died when he was thirteen and was buried on land that was later sold. They had to exhume her remains and rebury it in the new spot.
Portable said that her corpse was still fresh and not decaying. Some religious ceremonies were done, and she was permanently buried on his land.
In the video, he made plans of building a mansion and car garage on the land to honour her memory.
Reacting to this information were netizens who sympathized with his loss at an early age and struggling all on his own till he rose to stardom.
He was an inspiration to many unlucky in life. Most can now see the reason he had to be the strong and undaunting man that he is.
