The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) acknowledges the arrest of Bobrisky, a prominent lifestyle influencer, while outlining the grounds for the move.
According to reports, Bobrisky was detained at his apartment in Pinaccle Estate, Lagos on April 3rd.
A representative called Dele Oyewale confirmed the arrest and provided Linda Ikeji Blog with unique facts on the grounds for the detention.
According to him, the crossdresser was apprehended for money mutilation and unlawful Naira handling.
He also said that Bobrisky is now in their facility in Lagos and would be charged in court soon.
“He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos State”, Oyewale said.
