In his response to the untimely death of Nollywood actor Junior Pope, Iroko TV CEO Jason Njoku criticises Nigeria’s inadequate healthcare system.

Stanley Ontop, a member of the late actor’s crew, stated during a live Instagram session that Junior Pope was taken to a hospital, but the oxygen supply was insufficient for his emergency care, and the doctor declared him dead.
In response, Jason Njoku bemoaned the state of Nigeria’s healthcare system.
If something happens that requires immediate medical attention, he believes that everybody who lives in Nigeria is essentially in God’s hands.
He wrote: “Just know, when you are living in Nigeria. Anything emergency medical-related that happens, you are essentially in the hands of God.”
