A recent video involving Nigerian artist Davido and Shallipopi has appeared on social media, coinciding with the EFCC’s crackdown on naira abusers.
The video’s caption reads: “Na Davido EFCC go carry next.”
In the footage, Davido is seen spraying and flinging bundles of naira notes around at a club.
At the same time, fellow singer Shallipopi is seen doing the same with a stack of naira notes.
The video reappeared shortly after Bobrisky, a renowned online celebrity, was arrested and sentenced to six months in prison for naira abuse.
Celebrity businessman Cubana Chief Priest was arrested and tried, but pleaded not guilty and was granted ₦10 million bail.
Concerned individuals have raced to the post’s comments section to offer their thoughts on the video of Davido and Shallipopi spraying naira notes during the crackdown.
