TV host Lady Bi has publicly shown her support for Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede, while also criticizing her ex-husband for being unemployed and relying on others for financial support.
This comes after Jegede opened up about her marriage during a podcast interview, expressing regret for prioritizing love over financial stability.
Jegede highlighted how financial differences and other issues contributed to the end of their marriage, mentioning that she was the main provider throughout their relationship.
Lady Bi, who claims to have known Jegede’s ex-husband for years, took to Twitter to confirm Jegede’s account, revealing that he was jobless for a significant period and financially dependent on his mother.
Lady Bi also mentioned that the community had anticipated their divorce due to his financial instability.
She even recalled instances where Abounce, Jegede’s ex-husband, would buy Pepsi for the actress on credit from her mother’s shop.

“I lived next to Abounce growing up, in fact he was like a “Egbon Adugbo” to me and i categorically tell u for the years I knew him, he had no job! He was living on my mum is “Iya bukky Ajayi” he was jobless and financially impotent
“When the street heard she was getting married to Abounce, everyone saw a divorce following it, what was on everyone lips was “where he wan see money maintain the marriage”
“When they were dating, the bottled pepsi he use to buy for her was from my mum’s shop and it was on credit (he never paid for most )
