Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has accomplished another milestone in his career, becoming the first African artist to reach two billion streams in the United Kingdom.

In appreciation of his accomplishment, the singer was awarded with a Brit plaque at his sold-out show at Koko Camden in London on Monday night.

This comes only a few weeks after he was awarded a Brit 1 billion streaming plaque at his sold-out event at the London Stadium last month.

Receiving his Brit 2 billion streams plaque, Burna Boy claimed that he fought for it.

He said, “Thank you very much. I appreciate you. Ehen, now that’s it. You’ve to fight for your right.”

One of the presenters inferred: “You already have it. You don’t need to fight.”

Burna Boy said: “No. You know, we have to fight for our rights.”

In other news, Afrobeat artist Davido generated reactions online after coming out in a wig cap, prompting followers to compare him to Aunty Ramota.

In the video, he is dressed in a red and white striped T-shirt and a black cap, which are often worn by ladies. The musician, who married a few weeks earlier, was strolling to his car while speaking with another man.

The wig cap he was wearing drew attention, with many comparing it to the popular black cap worn by small-size actress Aunty Ramota.

The Grammy Award nominee may be heard teasing a man over his weight gain on the recording.

The video, however, has generated a lot of interest because of the hair cap Davido was wearing.
