BBNaija Season 9 kicks off on Sunday, July 28

Tomorrow, Sunday, July 28, marks the ninth season of the renowned reality TV show Big Brother Naija (BBN).

According to the organizers, the 2024 BBNaij will be bigger and better than ever before, with various intriguing twists and turns.

Some of the features to watch for as the program begins with a grand entry on Sunday at 7 p.m. will include the house, voting power, the housemates, and many others.

As expected, the Big Brother Naija house is always something to keep an eye out for. Because the theme  revolves around partners – two housemates bound by one ticket and opportunity – the house would not be without its spectacular look and feel. The house will have the Head of House lounge and a Saturday party venue.

Season Nine’s logo accurately suggests that two housemates will play as a team this season.

With the idea of a double housemate playing the game as one, DStv subscribers and BBNaija fans will have complete control over the game because the voting process will be made more accessible.

Again this season, the organizers add an interesting twist to how fans can win while actively participating by predicting the overall winner as well as locking in their prediction for the immunity challenge.

Toke Makinwa will return for another season of The Buzz on Showmax. Makinwa’s popular show, which is an extension of the reality show, will include in-depth analysis, behind-the-scenes content, and exclusive interviews.

The show will once again include housemates over 15 bracing up for challenge to remain in the house for 72 days.

The big prize remains at N100 million, which comprises a cash award and an SUV.

The Head of House task will no longer be a usual affair, as Season Nine will feature the Custodian Challenge, which begins at 9 p.m. on Sunday.

The procedure of selecting the first HoH, now known as the HoH Ballot, will take place on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 10 a.m. This will be followed by the Custodian Lock-In, the Immunity Challenge, and nominations.
