Yeni Kuti, the first daughter of the late Afrobeat originator Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, has honored her father’s 27th death anniversary.
The mother of one uploaded several photos of her father’s injuries received on his quest for a better life in Nigeria.
According to her, the photographs used in the collage were from his repeated beatings throughout the years, resulting in his sad death 27 years ago.
In the caption of her post, the woman, who bought a car for her 60th birthday, prayed that her father’s struggles and pains would not be in vain.
Yeni also advised people in positions of power to pay attention to the cries of the people.
According to her, the people are the most important aspect of government.
Remember that Yeni honored Fela’s 26th death anniversary last year.
