Onyeka, a Big Brother Naija reality show housemate, has made a new claim.
According to the housemate, her other housemates wanted her out of the show.
Onyeka and Chizoba, the Chekas duo, were among the bottom four pairs, along with Streeze, Chekas, Tami, and The Radicals, on last Sunday’s eviction show.
After the custodian’s NdiNne pair saved Radicals by using the “save only” box, other housemates who were not up for eviction selected which nominees to send home, and the Tami pair was voted out.
Eight out of ten pairs cast their votes in favor of evicting the Tami duo.
Although Onyeka’s Chekas received only a single vote against them from DoubleKay, she maintains that the other housemates wish to eliminate her, perceiving her as a significant threat.
In a discussion with Victoria on Monday, Onyeka alleged that a circle of friends leading the campaign against her in the house.
Onyeka: “I already know the people that want me to leave so….”
Victoria: “How did you know?”
Onyeka: “They were saying it yesterday na. I don cry na. Wettin I go do? I move.”
Victoria: “How many people said they wanted you to go?”
Onyeka: “They are like three. Three friends. I was even watching them. Then somebody still overheard them saying it.”
In other news, Deyemi Okanlawon, a star in Nollywood, has drawn attention with his comments on the rising number of people collapsing and dying.
His remarks follow the tragic deaths of Nigerian music icon Onyeka Onwenu and Yoruba vlogger Afobaje, both of whom collapsed and passed away.
Onyeka Onwenu died after collapsing during a performance at a friend’s 80th birthday party, while Afobaje, whose real name was Abimbola Ali, died while playing football in Ikeja.
Both were taken to the hospital, but efforts to save them were unsuccessful. In light of these events, Deyemi tweeted about the situation.
He mentioned that he has heard of five different cases of people collapsing and dying in just the past week. The actor questioned whether proper investigations and autopsies are being carried out.
Deyemi tweeted: “The rate at which ppl are just slumping and dying… I heard of about 5 in the last few weeks. Forgive my paranoia but I wonder if any proper autopsies and investigations are being done cos most of took those vaccs!”
