Actress Tonto Dikeh Blasts Popular Blog For Reporting Her Police Case

Tonto Dikeh, a controversial actress, has attacked the popular blog Instablog for reporting her police case.

Recall that she was summoned by Nigerian police for a variety of offenses, including cyberbullying and forgery.

She took to Instagram to criticize the popular blog Instablog for implying that she faced a possible jail sentence, labeling the platform “useless” and “irrelevant.”

She wrote: “Instablog Na your moda pikin and your pikin risk jail term.. and I wish you this in good faith!! useless blog, you are just getting a video of what happened 3days ago??? You are surely not a big deal after all!! I am in my house enjoying the goodness of the Lord.”.

Meanwhile, Tonto Dikeh and her bodyguard, Gbenga, have been summons by the Chief Magistrate’s Court in Wuse Zone 6 for alleged assault and criminal trespass.

Gistlover reports that in a court summons dated August 6, 2024, the two defendants were told to appear in court on August 24, 2024, to answer the allegations against them.

The complaint, court number CR/359/2024, was filed by Elvis Abuyere, Chief Executive of Skyewise Group Limited and proprietor of an Abuja-based car dealership company.

According to Abuyere, Tonto approached the car company in January about purchasing a brand-new Changan Uni-K 2023 model from Mikano Motors.

The complainant, who was believed to have a dealership relationship with Mikano, paid Mikano N85 million in full for the car, understanding that Dikeh would pay the remaining in instalments within three months of getting the car.

Tonto reportedly paid N37 million as her first deposit on the used 2008/2009 Lexus, plus an additional N3.5 million.

However, the movie star failed to settle the amount by the end of April, when the payment window expired, thus violating the agreement.

On May 1, Abuyere retrieved the car from Dikeh following a failed effort to collect the balance. Dikeh later paid N20 million, N17 million, and N5 million, with an outstanding amount of N2.1 million.

On July 30, the actress contacted the car business to have the car sereviced, and it was taken in for maintenance. After completing the repairs, the car company wanted the remaining N2.7 million from her.

However, she was said to have violently invaded the complainant’s company premises in Maitama, Abuja, with her bodyguard and two ladies, committing “criminal trespass.”

The actor is also accused of beating the accuser and other employees of his organization.

The four people disrupted business operations at the vehicle dealership, damaged property, and threatened to use social media to harm the complainant’s business.
