Munachimso Brian Nwana, a 22-year-old food consultant from Nigeria, has set a new Guinness World Record for the most fast food restaurants visited in 24 hours.

He visited a total of 150 restaurants, surpassing the previous record of 100 held by American YouTuber Airrack.

The announcement of Brian’s achievement was made by Guinness World Record (GWR) on their social media platforms.

A 22-year-old Nigerian food consultant named Munachimso Brian Nwana has made headlines by breaking the Guinness World Record for the most fast food restaurants visited in a single day. This achievement was shared by Guinness World Record (GWR) on their social media platforms.

Brian managed to visit 150 different restaurants, beating the old record of 100 set by American YouTuber Airrack last year.

Before that, TikTok stars Nick DiGiovanni and the late Lynn “Lynja” Davis held the record. Unlike the previous attempts in New York City, Brian’s record was set in Abuja, Nigeria.

He said: “New York has clusters of restaurants and adequate public transportation systems, so doing this in Abuja was much more daunting and challenging.”

For his record attempt, Brian was not allowed to use private transport, and since the city’s public transport is limited, he walked the whole route.

He covered more than 25 km, starting in Gwarinpa and ending in the city center, as noted by GWR. He began at 5 p.m. and took a nine-hour break from midnight to 9 a.m. to sleep.

To achieve the record, he had to buy and eat at least one item from each restaurant, with at least 75% of his orders being food.

Brian claimed he ate “probably enough to last a week” and made an effort to try something from most of the places he visited. The leftover food was shared with his team and the public.
