Nicki Minaj recently praised Wizkid and claimed that his popular song ‘Essence,’ featuring Tems, should win a Grammy award.

In an interview, she mentioned that ‘Essence’ deserves to be nominated for Best Global Performance because of its outstanding music.

She highlighted that ‘Essence’ was the top song of the year, reaching the top of Billboard’s international music charts when it came out in 2021, which strengthens her support.

“We should have our own Grammy board because Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ deserved to win Best Global Music Performance,”, Nicki Minaj said.
