During a recent session on Instagram Live, Kuti expressed skepticism about the financial success of some of his fellow musicians, suggesting that their substantial wealth is unlikely to stem solely from their musical endeavors.
He noted that despite having toured for two decades, he is only now constructing his first home, while artists with fewer than two successful songs appear to be more affluent than he is.
Kuti said: “I have been touring for over 20 years, and I’m only just building my first house. Where is the music money coming from? Musician never get two songs, he don buy Lamborghini and G-wagon. Where’s this music money coming from?”
According to Gistlover, a growing number of Nigerian artists have recently begun to boast about the profitability of the music industry.

This account was shared by a social media user, @LizQueenB, who disclosed that the situation involved her brother.
As per her statement, the man discreetly collected items containing the children’s DNA and submitted them for testing at a laboratory.
Upon receiving the results, he learned that none of the children were his biological offspring.
The revelation devastated the man, prompting him to leave for work and never return to his family.
“My Bro secretly took a DNA test and discovered that none of the three kids were his. He told his wife he was going to work, and it’s been five years now without any contact. Why would someone leave without confrontation or giving any explanation?”
