Court denies US rapper Sean Diddy $50 million bail proposal after pleading not guilty to s3x trafficking charges

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has initiated his third attempt to secure release from incarceration, with his defense asserting his innocence and characterizing the sexual encounters as entirely consensual.

The rapper’s legal representatives have submitted new filings, acquired by DailyMail.com, contending that the music mogul poses ‘no threat to the community’ while he remains detained on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Combs has consistently denied any misconduct and has entered a plea of not guilty regarding the criminal accusations. During a previous court session, a federal judge in New York denied his bail request, citing allegations that Diddy attempted to contact witnesses.

In the appeal submitted today, Combs’ attorneys indicated that he had reached out to a potential witness with the consent of that witness’s legal counsel.

The United States Attorney’s Office will have the opportunity to respond to Diddy’s appeal, although it is unlikely that the matter will be addressed in court this week.

At 54 years of age, Combs has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since he pleaded not guilty on September 17 to federal charges alleging that he exploited his ‘power and prestige’ to coerce female victims into participating in drug-influenced, elaborately staged sexual performances with male sex workers, referred to as ‘Freak Offs.’

Additionally, other alleged victims have already filed lawsuits against Combs, which include claims of sexual assault.
