"They should understand she’s now married" – BBNaija's Kellyrae blasts Kassia’s family

Big Brother Naija Season 9 champion, Kellyrae, has addressed the discontent expressed by his wife Kassia’s family regarding their management’s choice to support him over her in the recently concluded reality competition.

The couple, popularly referred to as DoubleKay, initially shared a management team while in the house. However, following Biggie’s decision to unpair the housemates, which required them to compete independently, their management opted to endorse Kellyrae’s advancement in the show over Kassia’s.

In a post-eviction discussion, Kassia acknowledged that the management’s choice was sound, yet she noted that her family was displeased with the preference shown towards her husband.

In a subsequent interview with Naija FM in Lagos, Kellyrae criticized his in-laws for their opposition to the management’s decision.

Host: “Kassia said her family isn’t happy about your management’s decision to back you to progress on the show ahead of her.”

KellyRae: “Yeah, they are not happy. But they should understand that she is now married.”

Kellyrae and Kassia were in a relationship for ten years before tying the knot eight months ago.
