Renowned comedian, actor, and filmmaker Basketmouth recently discussed his experiences in the film industry during an interview, focusing on his role as a filmmaker.

This mismanagement often leads to a diminished budget and a decline in the overall quality of their films.

Regarding the topic of film budgeting, Basketmouth recounted an instance where he successfully raised 300 million Naira for a movie project within a mere twenty-four hours.

Additionally, he addressed the importance of collaboration with younger filmmakers, asserting that the older generation has much to learn from their younger counterparts. He cautioned that seasoned filmmakers should not perceive their collaboration with younger individuals as a favor.

Furthermore, the accomplished comedian criticized his peers in the comedy sector who seek financial support from audiences during performances, labeling this practice as dishonorable. He urged them to concentrate on delivering exceptional performances instead.

The well-known Nigerian musician Davido denied claims that he is trying to take full custody of his daughter Imade from her mother Sophia Momodu.

In response to the singer’s request for joint custody, Momodu has submitted a counter-affidavit in which she claims the child would be better off in her care.

Davido clarified his stance on social media, saying that he does not seek full custody as had been stated, but rather joint custody exclusively.

He was upset that people were misinterpreting his motives because of his fame.

“You all want to act like you can’t read because it’s Davido, but all I asked for was joint custody,” he wrote on X.

“SMH… I’m done with this. y’all be blessed and I pray this never happens to you.”
