Despite the limited social media and streaming options back then, Wizkid’s debut album Superstar gained international attention due to its strong appeal among music fans.
The statement was backed up by an Oyinbo lady who was happily singing to the 2011 Wizkid Superstar album.
Just before playing “No Lele,” she said, “You can’t call yourself a real Afrobeats fan if you didn’t experience the Wizkid Superstar album era.”
