A Nigerian man residing in the UK expressed his admiration for his wife by describing her as a “gem” and recounting her steadfast support during a challenging year when he faced unemployment and health issues.

In a post on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, he addressed financial challenges within marriage while narrating his personal experience of his wife’s unwavering assistance.

He reflected on a time when he was unwell and unable to work, a situation that persisted for approximately a year, during which his wife managed all financial responsibilities.

He stated: “In light of the discussions surrounding financial matters in marriage, I can only express my gratitude: GOD BLESS MY WIFE 🙏🏾🙏🏾. I was without income for over a year due to my illness.”

“Financial concerns were never a problem. Whenever she received her salary, her first words would be, ‘Babe, we have been paid.’ I truly married a GEM.”
