He posted a video on Instagram showcasing his achievements both in Nigeria and abroad.
The video included clips from his interviews with global media, invitations to special events, and highlights from the start of his film career.
In the video, Afolayan talked about his early life, explaining that he studied accounting and had a successful career in that area before moving into acting.
He highlighted some of his well-known projects, such as Figurine, October 1, Omugwo, Mokalik, Citation, Anikulapo, and Naija Christmas.
Afolayan added a message, calling himself a creative person who prioritizes his own work and business.
He pointed out that his only competition is himself, proudly recognizing his identity as a Nigerian filmmaker.
“I am a creative, I like to build and I mind my own business. I am not in competition with anyone but Myself. My name is Kunle Afolayan, I am a Filmmaker and I am a Nigerian,” he stated.
