This idea, shared by X user @chinedu_10, involves giving women his phone number rather than asking for theirs.
Chinedu pointed out that he is not a relationship coach, but this technique has been successful for him in creating meaningful relationships.
“When I meet a lady who catches my eye, I don’t ask for her number. Instead, I give her mine and tell her to text me. It’s not about being proud or forming an ‘alpha male’; it’s about respecting my time. If she doesn’t text, I’ve saved myself from wasting time on something that wouldn’t work out. Trust me, this works!” he stated.
Encouraged by the idea, another X user, @Yorubatoast1, wanted to try the method on a woman he liked during their usual bus rides.
Instead of directly requesting her number, he handed her a note with his phone number on it.
To his happiness, she texted him a few hours later, leading to a fun and entertaining chat. This left him feeling hopeful about this simple yet successful approach.
Sharing an update on his experience, he wrote:
“I decided to try this method yesterday, and it actually works, guys. Don’t let Twitter women gaslight you; give out your number instead. If she’s interested, she’ll message you.”
