Amid the increasing scrutiny of Nigerian celebrities wearing counterfeit luxury brands, socialite Cubana Chiefpriest (Pascal Okechukwu) and his former boss, Obi Cubana (Obinna Iyiegbu), have been confirmed as owners of authentic designer pieces.

According to a report by GistLover, the Instagram account @T20luxury—known for exposing celebrities flaunting fake luxury items—has recently called out several high-profile figures, including actress Regina Daniels, highlife singer Kcee, and Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo.

Regina Daniels first made headlines when she was accused of unboxing a counterfeit Rolex watch, which she claimed was worth $30,000. Shortly after, she was exposed again for carrying a fake Chanel bag.

Singer Kcee also faced scrutiny after being spotted in an imitation designer denim jacket. The Italian fashion house behind the original piece emphasized the importance of influential figures in the entertainment industry setting a standard by wearing authentic luxury items.

Similarly, actress Iyabo Ojo came under fire when a foreign luxury retailer alleged that her Louis Vuitton monogram camera box bag was not genuine.

In contrast, Cubana Chiefpriest and Obi Cubana received a stamp of approval when the Italian brand verified that the designer items they were seen wearing were authentic.

@T20luxury applauded the Cubana Chiefpriest and Obi Cubana for not wearing Fakes and tagged them as “No fake zones”.

According to the first picture of Chiefpriest, he wore a Hermes herbag zip cabine bag worth $6000 (N9.6m), an AP Royal wristwatch worth $150k (N240m) and a Loro Piana shoes summer walk worth $1,100 (N1.8m).

For Obi Cubana, he wore Genuine bottega loafers on a white native senator and his designer shoes were confirmed to be original, although they didn’t list its price.
