- A viral video features Peller criticizing Nigerians involved in the ’30 Days Rant Challenge.’
- He warns that the challenge may prompt the Nigerian government to ban TikTok.

Popular TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, is under fire on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) after a video of him criticizing Nigerians participating in the trending ‘30 Days Rant Challenge’ went viral.
In the video, Peller expressed concerns that the challenge could lead to the government banning TikTok in Nigeria. Despite rising to fame through the platform, he advised online protesters to move their activities to Instagram instead.
His remarks have sparked widespread debate, with many social media users accusing him of undermining digital activism.
“If you want to really rant, go to Instagram; go to the market; don’t rant here on TikTok. If they ban TikTok, that’s where we will have issue,” he said in the viral video.
Peller’s remarks prompted a response from Verydarkman’s attorney, Deji Adeyanju, who criticized the TikTok influencer for advising Nigerians on how to voice their frustrations.
“Who’s this boy saying people should not rant on TikTok? Is TikTok your father’s house? Shouldn’t you be in school instead of on TikTok? Are you not too young to be doing TikTok? You have no right whatsoever to tell Nigerians how to express their frustration,” Adeyanju wrote in a tweet.
The TikTok rant challenge has gained traction among Nigerians, with figures like Cynthia Morgan, known as Madrina, sharing their grievances about the country’s economic struggles.
This challenge was launched by NYSC member Ushie Uguamaye, who labeled Tinubu a “terrible president” in light of the prevailing hardships.
