A viral video of former Oyo state governor, the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi making rounds on social media has intensified the pain and sorrow in the heart of the people who loved the fine gentleman.
In the video, Senator Abiola Ajimobi said that he would like God to kill him at the age of 70. His reason for such a strange wish was that his late father died few days to his 70th birthday. Feeling terrified he might not get to live to his 70th age like his father, he prayed that such a tragic event should skip him.
He died at age 70 at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after slipping into a coma following Coronavirus complications. He left behind a wife and 5 children.
