Actress Bimpe Akintunde has reflected on the insights gained from viewing her colleague Lateef Adedimeji’s latest film, “Lisabi,” available on Netflix.
In an extensive post on Instagram, Bimpe highlighted that the film conveyed the important lesson that a man’s achievements are significantly shaped by the support he receives from a woman.
She underscored the notion that, in the absence of a woman’s encouragement, a man’s endeavors may ultimately prove fruitless.
She wrote: “So I saw LISABI this midnight, and I realize that no matter how powerful you are as a man, without the support of a woman, it’s likely you keep trying and never win; LISABI won the Oloyo war because of A backup of a Brave Woman IKEOLA, moral lesson.
Dear Men, God wasn’t foolish when he created Women as your backbone and support system; if you are a man and God bless you with A Brave woman to support you in your journey, learn to Appreciate and Adore them. A Brave Woman will go to war with her Husband and make sure he wins, even laying down her life for him. And for every Brave and supportive woman out there, I pray that you won’t join Force with the wrong person.
Kudos to My Egba Bloodline Lateef Adedimeji and My Blessed Ayaba’Detola Adebimpe.
@adedimejilateef @mo_bimpe I celebrate you both. Please enjoy LISABI on Netflix”.
