Funke Akindele, a popular Nollywood actress and film producer, has dedicated her new highly anticipated film ‘A tribe called Judah’ to her late beloved mother, RB Adebanjo Akindele.
The story of a family of four boys who decide to rob a small mall with the help of their mother is told in ‘A tribe called Judah,’ which premiered on Sunday, December 10.
Funke, who sadly lost her mother on February 7th, 2023, revealed that a portion of her mother is depicted in the film.
The post read, “Like I said, a part of my mum is also in the movie. I didn’t know that she was going to pass on.”
“I didn’t even know that she was going to be sick when I wrote the story but it happened.”
“This movie holds a special place in my heart as it is dedicated to her memory.”
